The Walking Dead universe is full of talented cast members but could one of them be one of the remaining contestants on FOX’s The Masked Singer?

The Masked Singer is one of the most popular shows on television. The concept of celebrities dressing up in elaborate costumes while others guess their identities has captured a massive audience. So far, none of the contestants have been part of AMC’s The Walking Dead universe, but it is possible one of the remaining contestants could be a former cast member from Fear the Walking Dead.

Fans who have been following the competitive singing program may feel something familiar about the Turtle. A strong singer with quite a bit of charisma, the Turtle has a punk rock vibe and has rocked the crowd with a diverse group of songs.

Here are the songs Turtle has sung through Week 10 of The Masked Singer:

  • “Kiss from a Rose” by Seal – (WATCH HERE)
  • “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur – (WATCH HERE)
  • “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” by Shawn Mendes – (WATCH HERE)
  • “Higher Love” by Steve Winwood – (WATCH HERE)
  • “Let It Go” by James Bay – (WATCH HERE)

Those with a great ear might recognize the vocals to be those of singer and actor Jesse McCartney, who played Reed in season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead. While no clues have pointed directly at his time on the AMC zombie drama, there are plenty of hints at his identity.

Here are some of the most obvious clues pointing to the Turtle’s identity as being McCartney:

  • Boy band roots: McCartney got his start with the boy band Dream Street. Not only have boy band hints been given, but the first clue package includes the words “Don’t rave ever at my school, Turtle” which spells “DREAM ST” when abbreviated.
  • Pledging: On a chalkboard, Greek letters were written. McCartney was in season 2 of the ABC series Greek.
  • On the map: A map of Seoul, South Korea hints at “Beautiful Soul” which was McCartney’s biggest solo hit.
  • Comic books: Comics have been a part of McCartney’s career for a while as he voiced Dick Grayson for four years in the Young Justice animated series. The price tag on the comic was $10.13, which is the span of years he was on the show (2010-2013) Plus, the 10th letter of the alphabet is J and the 13th is M, spelling out Jesse McCartney’s initials.
