The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan celebrates his birthday, and The Walking Dead world was present with many birthday greetings via social media. Morgan has been very busy during the quarantine caused by the COVID-19 pandemic but he was able to pause on his birthday, if only for a little while.

Morgan and his wife Hilaire Burton Morgan starting a live stream event called Friday Night In with the Morgan’s in which they live stream from their home with special guests in attendance. They also have to deal with the usual upkeep of their family farm, Mischief Farm.

Morgan, who turned 54, shared a photo of himself with his daughter celebrating his birthday “farming with his gal.”

The Walking Dead twitter page encouraged fans to respond with a gif to wish Morgan a great day.

One of his close friends and fellow Walking Dead castmates Norman Reedus posted a photo of the two of them simply stating, “Happy Bday Buddy.”

Samuel’s Sweet Shop, located in Rhinebeck, NY, and is co-owned by the Morgans, shared a photo of Morgan and his son in the shop. They wished him a happy birthday and are offering a 20% discount on their website.

Lastly, his wife shared a beautifully written post wishing him a happy day as well as sharing with everyone how much she loves and appreciates the man she calls husband.

The Walking Dead will release the finale of its 10th season later in the year after the COVID-19 shut-downs caused problems with post-production. Fans are anxiously awaiting the release of this final episode as well as news of filming for season 11.
