Greg Nicotero’s Creepshow kicks off its run on AMC
AMC will air season 1 of the Greg Nicotero Creepshow reboot beginning in May ahead of the show’s second season, which debuts later this year on Shudder.
Creepshow is coming to AMC in May, bringing with it all of the thrills and chills fans have come to expect from horror master Greg Nicotero, who resurrected the series for AMC-owned Shudder. The six-episode first season is coming to AMC in May ahead of its season 2 premiere later this year.
AMC will air two episodes every Monday night at 9pm ET starting May 4, with the final two episodes airing on May 18.
Horror fans know that the original Creepshow was penned by Stephen King and directed by the godfather of the undead, George A Romero. Nicotero, who is widely known for his work with the undead on AMC’s The Walking Dead and its spinoffs, recruited another familiar face to the show, completing a zombie family tree of sorts.
That familiar face is none other than Cailey Fleming, the young actress who plays Judith Grimes on The Walking Dead. Fleming debuted as an older version of Judith back in season 9, and she has quickly endeared herself to the fandom. In Nicotero’s Creepshow, the young actress with an old soul faces off against evil in a new twist on a classic haunted house story.
Fleming’s episode airs on the first night, May 4, and if the preview is any indication it’s going to be the perfect way to spend an evening at home. (Though you might want to check under the bed and keep a light on…)
Creepshow airs Mondays at 9pm ET on AMC beginning May 4, with season 2 scheduled to premiere on Shudder later this year.
