Salute to the moms of The Walking Dead Universe – Mother’s Day 2020

The moms of The Walking Dead Universe have gone through hell and back defending their kids, and on this Mother’s Day we salute them for all they do.

Don’t mess with the mothers of The Walking Dead Universe. From Lori, Michonne, Carol, Rosita and Maggie on The Walking Dead to ill-fated Madison Clark on Fear the Walking Dead, these women have walked through fire to protect their kids.

Families that survive together in The Walking Dead Universe are rare. Most families have been torn apart by the apocalypse, and even families that formed after the start of The End Of The World As We Know It (aka TEOTWAKI) have experienced challenges.

This is not an exhaustive list. There have been many mothers on the shows over the years, from Jessie to Travis’s ex-wife, and they have all played very important roles. Some of these moms have stood out more than others, and this list is a celebration of some of the most well known TWD Universe mothers.

In spite of everything they have been through, these fierce moms have demonstrated the ability to keep their families as safe as possible through it all, and on this Mother’s Day we salute them.
