The Walking Dead’s Samantha Morton is celebrating a birthday, and we want to wish her a great day!

Samantha Morton was cast as the villain, Alpha, on The Walking Dead in season 9. This character was much anticipated by the fans of the comics, and Morton did a bang-up job portraying the recent threat to our main group. May 13th is her birthday, and we hope she had a fantastic day.

Morton was introduced to The Walking Dead world in Season 9, “Adaptation.” Her character Alpha, was the leader of a gruesome and fearless group called The Whisperers. This group wore the skins of dead people to disguise themselves as walkers. When we are introduced to Alpha at the very end of the episode, she is staring down Alden and Luke, her Whisperers then surround them, and she points a gun at them and says, “Trail ends here.”  This was a fantastic way to introduce her and show just how loyal her group is to her leadership.

Sadly, she will no longer be on the series, but she will always live as one of the greatest villains in The Walking Dead world.

Fans from all over took time on May 13 to send best wishes for her on her special day. Below is a sampling of Twitter posts, and you can see all the fan love in the comments of these posts.

Before she became Alpha, Morton was known for her part as Margaret Wells on the series Harlots. She was also the voice behind the character Ruby from the children’s series Max and Ruby. She has won Oscars for her parts in Woody Allen’s Sweet and Lowdown as well as Jim Sheridan’s In America. She also starred opposite Tom Cruise in Minority Report. These are just a few of her accomplishments. She is a diverse actor and isn’t afraid to throw herself into her roles.

It will be exciting to see what she gets to do next.

Next. AMC and The Walking Dead should do virtual table reads for charity. dark

Happy Birthday, Samantha Morton, from all of us at Undead Walking.
