8. Blade II (2002)

There was something about the Blade movies that felt special. Wesley Snipes beautifully played the strong, determined lead who hunted vampires after his mother was killed by the bloodthirsty monsters and a bigger concern was revealed.

Blade II saw the story branch out as mutations started to happen in the vampire community and they started to feed on other vampires as well as humans. Blade is recruited to help eliminate the threat before the population is wiped out.

Norman Reedus plays a character named Scud, a human who was exposed to the vampire world. He serves as a technical expert for Blade and builds weapons and more to help deal with the war happening in the city’s underground.

Not only is Reedus an interesting character in Blade II but his exit from the movie is an eventful one as well. The Blade movies are a lot of fun, and even without Reedus, the three-movie series is well worth a watch.
