It’s fun to see Norman Reedus teamed with his real-life partner Diane Kruger in a serious movie about a woman who leaves her husband while on vacation and goes on a journey through the desert to learn more about herself in the process.

Not only that, but fans of the zombie survival drama shows will see Fear the Walking Dead director Lou Diamond Phillips in the film as well, making this a great way to enjoy the talent in front of and behind the camera on AMC.

Reedus’ character Diego is interesting on multiple levels and his interaction with Kruger’s Romy is a charming, yet tumultuous look into some of the struggles people face and how those issues can indirectly impact others.

If you can get past some of the cliches and underdeveloped drama the film has to offer, Sky could be a very enjoyable watch for fans of Norman Reedus as well as one that offers a more dramatic look at the Daryl Dixon actor.
