8. Seeing the dynamic within the Whisperers
The death of Alpha is something that recently rocked the Whisperers and now the question of how the group will act has to be addressed. Alpha kept the group together using fear and intimidation to keep everyone loyal. Now, that all could change.
Instead of sticking with a group many of them have been questioning for a while now, members of the Whisperers may be ready to make their exit from the group and seek a life more similar to the one they saw at the Hilltop.
9. The Whisperer reaction to seeing Lydia
Beta knows there is a good chance Lydia is still alive. He had seen her more recently than other members of the Whisperers and was part of the small circle of the group who was made aware she still lived past when Alpha said she was dead.
Knowing they had been lied to and led into battles under false pretenses while breaking the group’s rules might open the door for Whisperers to leave the group or possibly defect and fight against Beta and the massive horde of walkers. That would be fun to see happen.
10. Seeing our favorite characters survive
War on The Walking Dead usually results in some deaths. Over the course of the show, many of the best characters ever to appear have met their end while dealing with the undead or a ruthless villain who got the upper hand.
Of course, fans will all be hoping their favorite characters make it out alive. However, that might not be the case. When facing a group as dangerous as the Whisperers, even without Alpha, it feels like just about anything can happen.
