Happy birthday wishes go out to Fear the Walking Dead star Alexa Nisenson
Fear the Walking Dead star Alexa Nisenson turned 14 on June 8 and the birthday wishes poured in from her fellow cast members.
Nisenson made her debut on Fear the Walking Dead in season 4 as Charlie. At first it seemed like Madison and Nick Clark were looking out for the youngster, but soon the tables turned and fans learned that Charlie was acting as a scout for the nefarious Vultures.
Charlie’s journey has been a rough one; after shooting Nick, she was reluctantly admitted into the group of new friends because at the end of the day she was just a child. After being stranded in a hurricane with Alicia, the two young women came to an understanding and now Charlie is a valued member of the team.

Garret Dillahunt was one of the first members of the cast to comment on her Instagram post, saying “Happy birthday, Nisenson. Miss you.”
Fear TWD executive producer Michael E. Satrazemis said “Happy birthday Alexa! Love and miss you!”
Keep in mind that it has been months since the Fear the Walking Dead cast has seen each other. They had just started their filming hiatus in March when the novel coronavirus pandemic shut down production. The show should be finishing up filming on season 6 right now, but instead they have been in a holding pattern until it is safe to return to work. That makes all of those “miss you” messages even more poignant.

Nisenson is one of the most poised and well-spoken young actresses I’ve ever interviewed. She has become quite the prodigy when it comes to saying a lot about nothing, which happens during most of our interviews when she can’t actually say much about what she’s filming or her character’s story. Though she can’t divulge secrets, she always finds a way to share something else about Charlie’s mindset or her approach to bringing Charlie to life and it always makes for a fun interview.
