Lauren Cohan will appear with The Walking Dead cast during SDCC at Home

She’s back! After leaving The Walking Dead in the first half of season 9, Lauren Cohan is returning in the season 10 finale and she will make an appearance with the TWD cast during the SDCC at Home virtual panel in July.

The last time the TWD Family saw Maggie on The Walking Dead, it was in episode 905, “What Comes After.” At the time, no one knew it was going to be her last episode and she slowly bowed from the show to move on to the now cancelled ABC romantic comedy and action adventure Whiskey Cavalier. She left the door open for a return, pending contract negotiations and the right story.

Fans were thrilled to learn that Cohan was coming back, and when the season 10 finale preview revealed that the survivors’ salvation could arrive in the form of Maggie and her reinforcements.

Cohan will be joined virtually at SDCC at Home by costars Melissa McBride, Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand and newcomer Paola Lazaro, who brings the ebullient Princess to life. Other cast members could be announced leading up to the event.

Showrunner Angela Kang will also be in attendance along with Scott M. Gimple and Greg Nicotero, who also directed the season finale.

The SDCC at Home event is open to all fans for free and it runs July 22-26. The schedule has not been announced yet, but if tradition holds then fans can expect to see The Walking Dead Universe panels on Friday, July 24. Fridays are usually the day when big television shows take over Hall H.
