1. The Good Wife (2009)

Before making it big with The Walking Dead, Jeffrey Dean Morgan had some great roles in other big television shows. One that got a lot of attention was his time as Jason Crouse on The Good Wife.

JDM’s character was introduced as a private investigator hired by Alicia and Lucca Quinn. The former New Jersey lawyer ended up getting close to Alicia as a result of them spending time together and their relationship was an interesting one to watch develop.

Morgan appeared in 19 episodes of the popular CBS drama starting with season 7 episode 2 and running through the series finale. He was remarkable to viewers was Jason’s charisma and the mystery surrounding the character.

To this day, Morgan’s work on The Good Wife is one of the most talked-about performances on the show, especially considering the way Jason ended things in the final episode of the show’s run on CBS.
