10 great shows or movies to watch featuring Jeffrey Dean Morgan

5. Extant (2014)
When talking about notable roles for Jeffrey Dean Morgan, sometimes Extant gets lost in the shuffle. The sci-fi drama shouldn’t be an afterthought though, especially since the concept of the show is intriguing.
The CBS show investigated the impossible pregnancy of an astronaut on a 13-month mission in space. Molly, played by superstar Halle Berry gives another great performance as the confused explorer and her pursuit of the truth leads her down some big rabbit holes.
JDM plays JD Richter in the show, a police officer who works with a bounty hunter and teams up with Molly to do some digging on the matter. The two play off of each other quite well and create interesting scenes along the way.
Sadly, Extant only lasted two seasons before it ended. Still, fans of Jeffrey Dean Morgan would be doing themselves a disservice if they haven’t watched him work with Berry on this show to see two professionals who are obviously excellent at what they do.
