6) Learn to track

Want to know part of the reason why (In universe, anyway) Daryl has lasted so long in The Walking Dead? It’s because he’s so good at tracking and covering his tracks. He’s able to tell where someone (Or something) has been and where it’s going, all the while knowing how to make sure that no one else is doing the same to him. In the world of The Walking Dead, it’s the closest thing to a superpower.

But, do you want to know the craziest thing? It’s a superpower you can learn.

It won’t be quick, and it won’t be easy, but, if you spend enough time hunting, or just plain learning tracking from an expert, when the zombie apocalypse hits, you can have the skills to not only track down animals to eat for food, but also be able to stealthily keep follow hostiles and zombies, on top of all that, you can also learn to hide your movements from all but the cleverest of hostiles, as you move through the world leaving virtually no trace that you were even there.

And, that last part, I do not say lightly. With hostiles being so dangerous, maybe even more so than being able to track animals or zombies, being able to move around without those hostiles noticing, may be the most crucial thing to staying alive in the apocalypse.

Trust me, in a world where death is around every corner, any advantage you can have is vital, and the ability to track (And not be tracked) has to be one of the best. I didn’t compare it to a superpower for nothing.
