3. Proctor John

It’s not too often that a villain is asked to return to a show, but Proctor John felt like a character who was rushed far too much and never really got a chance to explore his reasoning for his actions and even get a lot of screen time.

John’s stretch on the show only lasted from episode 315 titled “Things Bad Begun” and was never seen alive past “Sleigh Ride” episode 316. It’s strange seeing a life span that short for someone who had a bit of a build, and it feels like there is more that needs to be explored with him.

Of course, he was likely washed away with many of the other survivors when the dam exploded. He may not have ended up near the other survivors and it’s possible he didn’t survive the explosion or surge of water.

Still, it would be interesting to see Proctor John rebuild a new group and contend with the new survivors on Fear the Walking Dead. He would be a bit of a wild card and his appearance could be part of a larger story arc to tie the show back to its third season a bit more.
