10 NFL players who would survive on The Walking Dead
By Adam Carlson
1. Patrick Mahomes, quarterback – Kansas City Chiefs
If you have ever watched Patrick Mahomes play an NFL game, odds are that you have already seen why he is a great fit for the zombie apocalypse. Of course, he won’t be able to bring his NFL record-breaking 10-year contract extension with the Chiefs with him.
The strong-armed quarterback is known for his deep pass power and accuracy as well as his ability to fight off defenders pursuing him with a tough stiff arm. That arm strength will come in handy when swinging a weapon to fight off the undead.
Not only is his arm talent elite, but he is no slouch with his legs either. He can get out of tough situations and be elusive when needed. While he doesn’t have top-tier speed, he can get where he is going quickly and efficiently.
Mahomes’ physical talents are amazing, but it’s his mind that might be his greatest asset. He is a team leader who has to make quick decisions and execute them efficiently, and that is something he does on a regular basis along with a great reason the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV.
