Khary Payton joins Steven Yeun on Amazon series Invincible

Khary Payton, another cast member from AMC’s The Walking Dead, has joined Steven Yeun as a voice actor on Skybound’s Invincible television series.
When it was announced that former Glenn Rhee actor Steven Yeun was cast as the lead in the upcoming Robert Kirkman Amazon project, the Invincible animated series, the excitement from The Walking Dead fans automatically rose. However, the casting from AMC’s zombie drama wasn’t done yet.
On Saturday at the Skybound Xpo, Robert Kirkman took part in a panel titled Skybound Past, Present, and Future. He made a few big announcements but one that is particularly interesting was casting announcements for Invincible.
Among the names revealed to be joining the show is Khary Payton, known for playing King Ezekiel on The Walking Dead. Payton has a unique voice and a long, beautiful history of being a voice actor over the course of his career.
Payton’s voice has been featured on many well-known shows and movies, including Teen Titans Go!, American Dad, Family Guy, Big Hero 6, The Lion Guard, Young Justice, DC Superhero Girls, and much more.

However, Payton wasn’t the only big name announced to be joining the upcoming Amazon animated series. Here are some of the previously announced artists as well as other individuals who will be lending their talents to the show:
