Even a celebrity can get starstruck as Norman Reedus experienced that feeling twice while being a guest at San Diego Comic-Con.

Comic-Con can be a huge adventure. Typically, it is a place where fans can meet some of their favorite celebrities, including huge names from The Walking Dead universe like Norman Reedus, to get their photos taken or nab an autograph.

Lines to see popular celebrities can get pretty crazy at conventions. At conventions featuring talent from The Walking Dead, Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, and others can be visited by many fans starstruck by seeing their favorite actors in person.

But what happens when a celebrity gets starstruck by another celebrity? Recently, Norman Reedus shared his two biggest starstruck moments at Comic-Con with Entertainment Weekly and the individuals might not be who fans are expecting.

The first celebrity isn’t too unusual. Being smitten while meeting Anthony Bourdain isn’t shocking. Bourdain was a world-famous television host, chef, author, and documentarian who led an intriguing life and experienced many wonderful things in his life. Sadly, Bourdain passed away in June 2018.

The other celebrity is the one that might catch people off guard. Apparently, Norman Reedus has a bit of an affinity for the children’s TV show Yo Gabba Gabba and got a bit starstruck by meeting the show’s host DJ Lance Rock.

Many people with children might recognize Yo Gabba Gabba for being a show to incorporate a good message with music, skits, animation, and puppetry to provide a fun yet educational experience. Thankfully, that experience can also be entertaining to the parents watching along with their young ones.

Yo Gabba Gabba has featured many amazing musicians on the show including Weezer, The Roots, Jimmy Eat World, The Flaming Lips, and, of course, a wonderful tune about washing your hands from Chromeo.

It’s easy to see why Norman Reedus would geek out a bit over meeting DJ Lance Rock. After seeing him on television so much with a kid, he would seem like a fun and interesting celebrity to meet. (Not to mention how much Dad cred he gets to be able to say he actually met DJ Lance Rock!)
