3) The Commonwealth is coming

The Commonwealth is here! While we’ve all known they were coming to the show eventually, this panel may have (accidentally) been the first official confirmation that the group from the final arc of the comics will appear in the show sooner rather than later.

Near the end of the panel, Angela Kang specifically mentioned “the Commonwealth group” when discussing things fans should be excited about for the season finale. This was in reference to Ezekiel, Yumiko, Eugene, and Princess’ group journeying to the meeting spot that Eugene set up with Stephanie.

Kang continued on to say that “we will get to a pretty cool point for [the Commonwealth group],” which makes it sound like they may be meeting with Stephanie and the Commonwealth as soon as in the finale itself. Time will tell how much of a role in the Commonwealth will play in helping defeat the Whisperers once and for all, but for now, all we can do is wait until October 4 to find out.
