The Walking Dead Universe has a powerful group of women cast members

Throughout the quarantine, people have participated in many social media challenges to keep occupied with while being socially distant. Some of the most popular have include Flip the Switch and the Pillow Challenge, and my personal favorite, Between Art and Quarantine, along with so many others to keep us entertained during our isolation. This week the women of The Walking Dead Universe are participating in a very important challenge that is all about women empowering women.

The challenge is to post a black and white photo of yourself and then challenge other women to participate as well. The images have ranged from very glamourous to basic, but all very beautiful. There is just something stunning about a good black and white photo. The hashtags are #womenempoweringwomen and #womensupportingwomenchallenge.  Along with their photo, the woman then challenges other fabulous women in their tribe to follow suit.

If you search the hashtags, you see many beautiful photos of themselves, and others have even posted pictures of another woman who has inspired them.

As you can see, we not only have a beautiful ensemble of ladies, but they have beautiful hearts, minds, and souls.  They are an inspiring group of ladies, and it feels so good to be a part of this fandom.

Over the years, many of the cast members have done fantastic fundraising events and have raised a significant amount of funds for great causes. During the pandemic, the outpouring of love and support we see from the cast members is so encouraging.
