Even a pandemic can’t end the prank war between Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead.

Fans of The Walking Dead have enjoyed watching the ongoing prank war between two of its main cast members. Andrew Lincoln, who played Rick Grimes until 2018, and Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, have been pranking one another for many years. With the exit of Lincoln’s character, many fans thought the war was over. But, no, these two just can’t let it go.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Reedus said that he is still hard at work trying to keep the prank war going. “I’ve found a couple of photos that were super humiliating that I sent him recently. There was some story about a guy in England who ate a pigeon in the middle of a park, and then I sent it to him, and I’m like, ‘Oh s**t, they caught you!'”

In years past, it seems that Reedus has been winning with war with pranks like his favorite one that he pulled off in Japan. Lincoln wanted to say something nice to the Japanese reporters, and he knew that Reedus could speak some Japanese. Instead of telling him how to say, “Thank you for having me in your country,” Reedus tells Lincon how to say, “Where’s the toilet?.”  He proceeds to say it in a room full of people, and many laughs are had by all. You can view the video here.

Other pranks that Reedus has pulled off have been putting chickens in Lincoln’s trailer and putting a lot of glitter in his car air conditioner vents.  Screenrant reports that he also tried to get Khary Payton (King Ezekiel) to help him put goats in Lincoln’s trailer. Payton refused because it was his first day on the job.

One of the best pranks that Lincoln has pulled on Reedus was the one where he had zombie impersonator Nick Santonastasso scare the life out of Reedus. Santonastasso, in full zombie getup, popped out from under a hospitality cart in a hotel room where Reedus was waiting to do an interview. Greg Nicotero also had a hand in this prank.

On July 10, 2018, Lincoln pulled this prank off below, and many thought he might have won the war.

Lincoln also got back at Reedus with a glitter bomb at Comic-Con 2016. It wasn’t quite as impressive at the car glitter bomb, but at least Lincoln got him. From the looks of the video, Lincoln got as much, if not more, glitter on himself than on Reedus.

It is good to see their friendship, and prank war continues on even after Lincoln’s departure from The Walking Dead.
