Pollyanna McIntosh of The Walking Dead talks Rick Grimes movies
The Walking Dead’s Pollyanna McIntosh was recently featured on Skybounds Talk Dead to Me Podcast. You can listen to the entire interview here. One thing that stood out in this interview was the section where they discussed the Walking Dead movies.
McIntosh discussed other movie projects she is slated to act in and that they have only been postponed due to the filming shutdowns. She also mentions the Rick Grimes movies and how important they are to fans and to Andrew Lincoln, who played Rick Grimes in series from season one to season nine.
"“It’s been too much of a work in progress and it’s too exciting to too many people and especially to Andy.”"
She goes on to say that Lincoln is committed to this character and finishing the story of Rick Grimes. McIntosh thinks it will be a stand-alone movie that will appeal to died hard fans as well as people who have never seen The Walking Dead.
Below is the clip of the interview regarding The Walking Dead movies.
With the news that season 11 could start filming as soon as October, could that also mean the movies would start filming soon as well? It is exciting to think it is a possibility.
Fans haven’t seen Jadis/Anne, McIntosh’s character, since she left with Rick Grimes in a helicopter in season nine. The two characters headed off never to be seen again, so far. Could we see Jadis/Anne again in the series? She is listed as being a part of the movies, so we will at least see her there.
Other projects McIntosh is involved in includes her two horror movies, The Woman and the stand-alone sequel Darlin’. In June of 2020, she played the leader of an all-female biker gang in Revenge Ride. She is listed to star in The Moonshine Gang of Cheyenne with Walking Dead alum Steven Ogg.
