AMC releases new photos from The Walking Dead: World Beyond

The Walking Dead Family was treated to a number of new photos on Friday morning after a new photo blitz from AMC. The new photos feature an inside look at The Walking Dead season 10 finale, Fear the Walking Dead season 6 and a fresh look at the first season of The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

World Beyond should have been done with its first season by now, but its premiere in April was cancelled and moved to October 4 following the season 10 finale of The Walking Dead.

The challenge for the show is that it went without a title for months, and as a show that takes place outside of the comic book canon it’s hard for fans to get excited when they haven’t had a chance to meet the characters.

However, having seen the pilot episode myself I can assure you that World Beyond is a breathtakingly fresh and innovative new show that will introduce an all new story into the TWD Universe.

As you can see in the photos, some of them aren’t exactly new. They’re new-ish. We’ve seen the photo of Julia Ormond’s Elizabeth already, along with the photo of Aliyah Royal, Hal Cumpston and Alexa Mansour. (This new photo is cropped; Nicolas Cantu was standing next to Mansour)

However, there is a new photo of Nico Tortorella’s Felix in action, using an S-pole in a fight against an empty (aka walker). Note the three circles on his jacket.

The other photos include Mansour, Royale and Cantu, and then Annet Mahendru’s Huck with a gun.

Filming could resume on The Walking Dead, Fear TWD soon. light. Related Story

It’s hard to know what to think of these photos given that virtually nothing is known about the new show, but they do offer a look at a different way of apocalyptic life in another part of the country.
