Watching The Walking Dead could actually improve your sex life!

By now, everyone has probably heard the term “Netflix and chill” being thrown around. If you’re not familiar with the term, it refers to getting together with someone and putting a show on the television while intending on an amorous encounter. The Walking Dead is on Netflix, but would it be good for such an activity?

A new study from MisguidedUs.com, puts the AMC zombie drama series in the top 15 programs on the popular streaming service for Netflix and chill. According to the research, a number of factors contribute to the show landing at 14 on the list.

The factors

Misguided used a combination of the amount of nudity, length of the show, IMDB rating, “hot” acts, and genre of the show to determine a chill number in order to rank programs based on their chill factor.

So, based on those factors, how does The Walking Dead fare so well? Let’s break all that down.

  • Nudity: Since this is an AMC show, nudity is at a minimum. Although there have been some butt shots in the past, the lack of nudity did hurt the score.
  • Length of show: Each episode of the series has an average length of approximately 67 minutes, leaving the door open for plenty of time for some hanky panky.
  • IMDB rating: An overall score of 8.4 (out of 10) really helps boost the show up the ratings.
  • “Hot” acts: There are definitely some attractive people on the show, but again. sexuality is at a minimum. However, that doesn’t mean there is nothing sexy going on.
  • Genre: Horror is an excellent genre for drawing someone close and encouraging contact. This was another major factor in helping the show move up the chart.
