LISTEN: Undead Walking Podcast on ‘TWD and chill’, post-production challenges
New episode of the Undead Walking Podcast covers news across the TWD Universe
The latest episode of the Undead Walking Podcast might be one of the most unique conversations the show has ever featured as hosts Adam B. Carlson and Sarabeth Pollock break down Adam’s article about The Walking Dead being one of the top shows for couples who want to “Netflix and chill.”
According to a recent study, The Walking Dead is near the top of a list of shows that work well for couples to become intimate. You might have heard of “Netflix and chill” but this is a whole new level of intrigue. Without nudity or sex scenes, why on earth would The Walking Dead place so high on a list of shows that help couples get into the mood?
That’s what Adam and Sarabeth aim to find out!
The duo also talked about the interview with Skybound’s Johnny O’Dell, focusing on his comments about what footage from The Walking Dead looks like when it comes straight from being filmed. Without post-production, there are lots of notes and pictures inserted into the scenes to fill in for effects that will be added later.
In other words, the episodes are really rough when they are first put together and the real magic happens in post-production. Given the challenges in filming since the COVID-19 shutdown, we’re lucky that the episode was able to be finished. And what’s more is that the countdown to The Walking Dead season 10 finale has begun and October 4 is less than two months away.
