Looking back on the first ten seasons of The Walking Dead, the story involving the Samuels family and the “adventures” the survivors had dealing with sisters Lizzie and Mika feel like a much bigger part of the show.
While Lizzie had major mental issues, Mika was a level headed survivor who was doing her best to help those around her. Despite only being 10 years old, she showed a maturity far beyond her age when interacting with survivors.
In a disturbing scene, Mika met her end at the hands of her sister. Lizzie wanted to prove to Carol and Tyreese that walkers can be your friend and aren’t as dangerous as they think. Of course, this is incorrect and thankfully the adults showed up before Lizzie did the same to Judith.
As stated earlier, it’s hard to know how children would grow up in the zombie apocalypse and how they would adapt. However, considering how she was light years beyond other survivors her age, it would have been fun to see how she turned out.
