Norman Reedus releases a new photography book to benefit COVID-10 relief

While he is best known for his work on The Walking Dead, Norman Reedus has made quite a name for himself as an artist and a photographer, with book releases and gallery showings around the world. He has also donated profits from signings, masks with the Big Bald Head logo and sales to causes he feels deeply about.

With his newest book of photography, Portraits from the Woods, Reedus is once again donating the profits from his photography work to a worthy cause, this time he is raising money for the Covid-19 Response Fund.

The Big Bald Gallery announcement for Portraits from the Woods includes this information:

"In this brand-new electrifying book of photography by Norman Reedus, he captures moments behind the scenes of TWD as only Norman could deliver. With his unique sense of humor, traveling into the Georgian woods with Norman’s cast of characters and zombies, alongside portraits of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Hideo Kojima, Lena Dunham, Diane Kruger, Dave Chapelle and many more to reveal the individuals that inhabit his life."

Portraits from the Woods contains 144 pages of Reedus’ incredible work, with a foward by his long time friend Mick Rock. Previews of the pages include pictures of some of his cast mates (Andrew Lincoln and Melissa McBride both have shots featured on the gallery’s main page) and with  added commentary about the pictures shown.

There are two versions to choose from: A standard edition that retails at $75 dollars and a Collectors Editions that retails for $150 dollars.  The Collectors Edition comes with a  cloth-bound clam shell case  a hard cover copy of the book and an  signed archival photograph.

This newest collection would make an excellent gift for fans of Norman Reedus’ work and has the added benefit of raising money for a good cause.
