Happy Birthday to The Walking Dead’s Christian Serratos

The Walking Dead’s Rosita, Christian Serratos, celebrates her birthday today

Christian Serratos plays Rosita on The Walking Dead, and today we want to wish her a very happy birthday. Rosita has been with the series since season four when Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Tara (Alanna Masterson) met up with Rosita, Abe (Michael Cudlitz), and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) after the fall of the prison.

Rosita has gone from just being Abraham’s girl to a real survivor. Since the birth of her daughter Coco she now has something even more important to fight for. It has been fun to see her character grow and start making better choices.

The Walking Dead and Talking Dead tweeted happy birthday wishes, and fans responded in full force. Sharing favorite Rosita gifs, artwork, along with their birthday wishes for Serratos.

Serratos will be starring in the Netflix series Selena: The Series that is based on the life of Selena Quintanilla, where she will play the beloved singer.

In 1997 Jennifer Lopez portrayed the “Queen of Tejano music” in the film Selena. Many thought the resemblance was uncanny. Now, Serratos will step up to play Selena, and she also has a sticking resemblance to the late singer.

Serratos will be joined by Ricardo Chavira, Seidy Lopez, Gabriel Chavarria, Noemi Gonzalez and Jesse Posey to round out the cast of the immediate family. Oprah Magazine shared a side by side look at the cast and their resemblance to the family members they portray.

The series is still scheduled to release something before the end of 2020. The Quintanilla family is not only fully supporting this project, but they also signed on as executive producers of the series.

On October 4, we will see Serratos as Rosita in the season ten finale of The Walking Dead. Rosita and her crew are still in the middle of the Whisperer war, and this finale will hopefully give us some closure to some of the loose ends. When we last see Rosita, she has been injured but is more concerned about Eugene and his planned meeting with Stephanie, who is from another group of people they have yet to meet.
