2. Becoming the moral compass

To survive in the zombie apocalypse, sometimes people have to be ruthless. When things get out of hand, there are those who will stand up for what they believe is right and be vocal against the things they believe lack humanity.

Sadly, those who speak out and try to keep the group from becoming monsters don’t have the best of luck on The Walking Dead. Those individuals may be holding the group together, but once they speak their mind it seems as though they exit the show.

Examples of this kind of individual are Hershel Greene, Dale Horvath, Glenn Rhee, and Sasha Williams. Each were vocal about a situation that questioned how to treat other humans and those debates often got heated.

If your favorite character starts standing up against others in the group in the name of humanity, it might be time to start looking for a new favorite because the ticking clock of doom has likely started.
