The Talking Dead TWD Universe Preview Special airs September 27 on AMC
Once upon a time there was a zombie show that became so popular it received its own after show for fans to break down every episode. Fast forward to 2020 and The Walking Dead still rules Sunday nights and the TWD Universe is growing by leaps and bounds. Chris Hardwick’s Talking Dead is growing, too, and on September 27 the Talking Dead TWD Universe Preview Special will lead fans in a look of what’s coming from all three shows in the franchise.
The preview show will air a week before the October 4 premiere of The Walking Dead season 10 finale and the series premiere of World Beyond, and it airs two weeks ahead of the October 11 return of Fear the Walking Dead for its sixth season.
TWD showrunner Angela Kang will be joined on the virtual couch with Lauren Cohan, who makes her triumphant return as Maggie in the finale.
Also announced for the show are Fear TWD showrunner Andrew Chambliss, Lennie James and Colby Minifie.

In addition to talking about the return of the shows, there’s no doubt that Hardwick will talk about all of the latest news around the TWD Universe including the end of the flagship show in 2022 and the debut of a Carol and Daryl spin-off and the all-new Tales of the Walking Dead anthology show.
Fans also saw the debut of the TWDUniverse Channel on Twitch, an innovative partnership between AMC and the streaming platform that allows fans to interact with each other in real time while watching episodes and exploring original content.

The Preview Special will not air live; according to AMC the show is virtual and was taped in advance.
