After months and months of waiting, fans can finally enjoy the season 10 finale of The Walking Dead. The episode debuts on October 4 but fans who subscribe to AMC Networks’ AMC+ or AMC Premiere can watch it on October 1.
AMC didn’t waste any time making the season 10 finale available to fans. It hit AMC+ and AMC Premiere in the early morning hours on October 1, and eager fans were thrilled to discover it was there and start watching. By morning, several fans reporting watching it multiple times already.
AMC Premiere is an add-on streaming package for viewers who have AMC as part of their cable package, and AMC+ fills the gaps by offering service to Sling, Xfinity, Comcast, Apple TV and Amazon. The streaming service offers access to all of the channels under the AMC Networks banner including Shudder, BBC America, IFC and Sundance.
The biggest benefit to subscribing to the service (particularly if you already have access to AMC) is that you are able to watch shows like The Walking Dead and World Beyond early. In this case, the shows are available on Thursdays instead of Fridays, as has been the case in previous seasons.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting The Walking Dead season 10 finale since it was postponed back in April. With Beta’s horde surrounding the hospital where all of the survivors were holed up, the tension is at a fever pitch. The stakes have never been higher and the only way to survive is to fight their way out.
The season 10 finale is also a bittersweet moment after the announcement that The Walking Dead will end with season 11. No matter how many bonus episodes there will be, it will never be enough.
