The Walking Dead episode 1016: An epic adventure with quick resolves

Worst things from TWD 1016
While there was a lot to love about the season 10 finale, there were some things that didn’t quite seem right. The show flowed well, but that was because many of the bigger situations and stories were cut short to fit the time constraints.
The death of Beta has to be one of the most controversial moments of the episode. Having an epic character killed so quickly felt like a bit of a waste, especially considering the excellent job Ryan Hurst did in the role. Still, the death was necessary to move the show forward and looked pretty cool, but it lacked a bit of the ‘oomph’ that could have made it epic.
That feeling also goes for the horde of walkers. It was smart for the survivors to cover themselves in guts and then draw the walkers away, but it felt like it was too easy of a resolution to a problem that was dwelled upon for months before watching the episode.
Having such a threatening situation resolved in such simple ways while only experiencing a minimal amount of losses or damage took away from the episode a bit, but not enough to take away from the experience as a whole.
