Interesting things from TWD 1016

To go with all the positives and negatives from this episode, there were some things that were either confusing or just notable based on the situations the survivors found themselves in throughout the story.

One of the biggest head-scratchers is how Maggie and her mystery traveling companion made it through the horde of the undead to get behind the Whisperers in the stairwell, Without the cover of zombie guts, it seems unlikely they would make it. But maybe they have a different way of deterring the undead.

Plus, several characters seemed willing to sacrifice themselves for the betterment of the group. However, Father Gabriel’s stand seemed highly unnecessary as he could have escaped with the others while Whisperers hacked through the stairwell wall. It seemed like an unnatural stand for someone so passionate about everything happening with Rosita.

It does seem like the COVID-19 epidemic impacted the special effects a bit because there were some things that seemed just a little off upon close examination, but thankfully a casual watch likely wouldn’t be disturbed too much unless looking for particular instances of CGI.
