The Walking Dead season 10 finale synopsis and preview
The end of the Whisperer War is upon us in The Walking Dead season 10 finale
If the best things in life go to those who wait, then the TWD Family is about to receive the best things with the highly anticipated season 10 finale of The Walking Dead. The finale, titled “A Certain Doom”, was supposed to air in April but was postponed after production shut down amid the pandemic. Now, fans will have a chance to see the episode in all of its glory.
The synopsis for “A Certain Doom” is short and sweet: “Beta engages the final battle of the Whisperer War.”
This isn’t surprising, as the penultimate episode of season 10 set things up quite nicely as Beta and the horde converged upon the hospital where the survivors had holed up after abandoning Alexandria.
There are a number of previews for the episode available. First up is the actual trailer that shows what’s coming in this massive episode:
Next is the extended opening minutes scene that reveals Father Gabriel offering consolation to the kids who are in the hospital:
Despite being 10 years old, The Walking Dead is stronger than ever and the season 10 finale is the bridge to a bright future. The franchise is expanding with exciting new programs and opportunities for fans to become involved, and it’s truly wonderful knowing how committed AMC is to the TWD Universe.
There are a few ways that fans can engage with the episode while it airs. Undead Walking will be live tweeting during the West Coast airing at 9pm PT, Talking Dead will be on following the series premiere of World Beyond (at approximately 11pm ET) and fans can watch together in a dual screen experience thanks to the brand new TWDUniverse channel on Twitch.
The Walking Dead season 10 finale airs Sunday, October 4 at 9pm on AMC.
