2. Hope shot Elton’s mom

This reveal sent The Walking Dead fanbase ablaze on Twitter. When fans thought it couldn’t get any worse than Hope as a child shooting a pregnant woman, the show reveals one of it’s biggest whammies yet. It turns out that the woman Hope murdered was actually Elton’s own mother.

When Elton started telling Silas about his sister, it was more of a tragically sweet moment. Then it is revealed that his baby sister was actually not even born yet. As soon as Elton said his mother was still pregnant when he lost her, the fanbase immediately started flipping out. For once in this universe, the answer comes quickly as Elton pulls out a picture and confirms it’s true.

This WTF moment could prove absolutely disastrous to the future of the group. While there is always the chance that the truth never comes out, it seems odd to give viewers all that information knowing nothing will come of it. Considering Elton has a photo of his mother, it’s only a matter of time before Hope sees it and has to either be honest with Elton or hold it inside and let it ruin her.
