6) This episode gets its name from the hospital tower the communities have taken refuge in. As far as quotes from the episode go, it may come from Aaron calling out “Tower, do you copy?” over the radio.

7) Princess guarding her base with landmines is the first use of such weapons in The Walking Dead. That said, they’re not the first use of them in The Walking Dead universe, as we saw them used as a defense around Tess’s house in the Fear The Walking Dead season five mid-season premiere episode, “Channel Four”.

8) While discussing Connie with Carol, Kelly mentions how, as she started losing her hearing, Connie told her it was her “superpower”. This is a reference to a conversation they had back in this season’s premiere episode, “Lines We Cross”.

9) After Princess reveals that she lied to Eugene, Yumiko, and Ezekiel in order to keep them around, Eugene explains how he had once made poor decisions, “Lied to folks”, and, like Princess, did so because the alternative was being left alone. This is a reference to his first meeting with Abraham (And lying about having a solution to the zombie virus), which we saw in a flashback back in season five’s “Self Help”.

10) The female Whisperer Daryl interrogates is (Approximately) the twenty-ninth Whisperer we’ve seen die, and the thirty-second to die overall.
