The cast and crew of TWD: World Beyond return to NYCC for a virtual panel

One year ago the cast of The Walking Dead’s newest spin-off was revealed at New York Comic-Con. At the time, the show didn’t have a name and was known as “TWD3”, and it was scheduled for an April 2020 premiere. Things have certainly changed in a year, but the World Beyond cast and crew will return for a virtual panel at NYCC at Home on Saturday, October 10 to discuss the show’s premiere.

Join World Beyond cast members Aliyah Royale, Alexa Mansour, Nico Tortorella and Joe Holt along with Chief Content Officer Scott M. Gimple and showrunner Matt Negrete as they discuss the show’s premiere and what fans can expect in future episodes.

The panel will take place at 3:10pm ET on the NYCC YouTube channel, and fans can set a reminder to be notified when the panel goes live.

World Beyond debuted on October 4 to positive reviews from fans and critics alike. The latest addition to The Walking Dead Universe features a new group of survivors in a completely new setting. The ties to the greater TWD Universe, including the CRM (aka the helicopter people who took Rick), are intriguing and this limited series will no doubt have fans talking for years to come.

This will be a chance to hear from showrunner Matt Negrete about that insane cliffhanger at the end of the series premiere. The CRM soldiers who had been sent to the Campus Colony of Omaha seemingly killed the entire colony of over 9000 people, leading to many questions about CRM’s motives. Hopefully Negrete and Gimple will be able to shed some light on what happened along with a look at what’s coming.
