Fear The Walking Dead, End Of The Line: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
6) During their back-and-forth about doing “what’s right” for everyone in the convoy, Ginny tells Morgan her communities comprise, in total, eight hundred and seventeen people, while the convoy consists of forty-one. Four episodes earlier in “Ner Tamid”, June counts the convoy’s population at thirty-six, the five people presumably left out from that count being Pete, Dom, Janis, Rabbi Kessner, and Wes.
7) During that same discussion, Morgan corrects himself, and says that he has forty people, after accounting for Tom (Who died in the previous episode), soooo…who’s missing? We just established that June counted thirty-six people in the convoy a few episodes earlier. Adding Dom, Pete, Rabbi Kessner, Janis, and Wes evens out to Morgan’s forty-one, yet, he subtracts Tom to get forty, sooo…who’s missing? Luciana? If not…is this some kind of screw-up?
8) Where did the horses Dwight found come from? Who did they belong to originally?
9) After emptying the Gulch of walkers, Al finds one inside with a Pioneer’s key on his lapel. This throws Ginny’s story into question: Was this Humbug’s Gulch an independent community who refused the Pioneers’ offer? Or, was it a Pioneer colony that Ginny just…abandoned?
10) As Wes and Alicia tour the Gulch, Wes notes how “rough around the edges” the place is, to which Alicia replies: “So was the stadium when my mom found it”. This is the first time anyone’s referenced anything about the origins of The Diamond in Fear.
