2. The ‘Blaze of Gory’

The ‘Blaze of Gory’ or, the BOG, in itself isn’t as big of a threat as things fans of The Walking Dead have seen before. However, this makes the list for a few reasons, one of them being a very practical reason. Iris decides to take charge in this situation and really push the group in the direction of going through the BOG instead of around it. Which time-wise, is a good idea.

However, it doesn’t seem this situation was thought all of the way through by any of the kids. They haven’t been able to make an empty kill, yet being surrounded by hundreds of empties is something they decide to embrace. Again maybe getting some practice in with killing would have been a good idea.

The next reason is the simple fact that the true size of the BOG wasn’t taken into consideration. It would have been worthwhile to hang out to see if they are missing anything, try to catch some breaks in the smoke to see in more, or even go to a different angle to look in since smoke can make things tricky.

One massive issue with this episode that fans immediately made known online is the fact the kids decide to rest within all of the smoke. People who fall victim to house fires are often truly the victims of the smoke they inhale, it’s why elementary schools first teach kids to stay low to the ground, because smoke rises. In reality, sleeping in this situation would likely end in death.
