After a very strong season 6 premiere featuring the rebirth of Morgan Jones, the story shifts gears in the second episode to check in with Strand and Alicia in Fear TWD 602, “Welcome to the Club.” Let’s take a look at what we can expect in this all new episode.
Lennie James makes his TWD Universe directorial debut in “Welcome to the Club” and it’s appropriate to have the OG of The Walking Dead going behind the camera for an episode that features the OGs of the first TWD spin-off. (Non-spoiler spoiler alert: He does a fantastic job)
The anthology format in season 6 is such that after a Morgan episode for the premiere, it’s time to check in with Alicia and Strand. An unknown amount of time has passed and they’re working under Virginia’s control. But things aren’t what they seem to be and it’s up to this dynamic duo to figure out what’s really going on.
