Fear The Walking Dead, The End Is The Beginning: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
19) Morgan (Isaac and Rachel’s daughter) is the second baby born in Fear The Walking Dead. The first was born back in season three while Strand was still at the Rosarito Beach Hotel, and was named after him.
20) Isaac is the third named character to die, both in this episode and this season, and, the first one not killed by someone else. (Unless you count Rachel putting him down before he turned)
21) From what I can see, Walter’s key reads “Do not ______ leave registered”. I can’t make out what the third word is, and, given that, I don’t know what it means yet.
22) Who are the guys looking for Walter’s key? What do they want it for?
23) This episode gets its name not only from the message (Slogan?) one of Walter’s pursuers writes on the side of the submarine, “The End Is The Beginning“, but also, the fact that the scene where he’s doing it is both the first scene of the episode and the last one. Literally, the end is the beginning.
24) On a side note, umm…what the hell is A SUBMARINE doing there? Whose is it? I don’t just mean who claims it now, I mean is it American? Is it British? Is it Russian? Whose military did it belong to before the outbreak? Why is it there? How did it get so thoroughly beached?
And, with that, we’ve concluded our Things To Note for this week. Was there anything you missed? Was there anything I missed? Feel free to throw in your things to note in the comments!
