For the midseason finale of FearTWD, the show focused on Alicia and Dakota as they met an interesting stranger and made some tough decisions about what to do with the future as well as a former traveling companion.

There were some great walkers in this episode as well as some weapons drawn on some characters fans have learned to care about over the years. However, there was some death in this episode and at least one character was lost along the way.

Here are the named characters who died:

Ed (Raphael Sbarge) – The only character to die during this episode was a weird individual that conducted strange experiments on walkers and made them more dangerous. His old hunting cabin was the home base for his alterations and led to the deaths of his wife and daughter. In the end, he was done in by the walkers he made alterations to when they broke through the door. Ed didn’t even put up a fight and allowed the walkers to devour him.

Other notable deaths

There were some other people who died in this episode but they happened off-screen, in the past, or were unnamed people. One of those was Terry, one of Virginia’s rangers who had been suited with some deer horns.

10 pioneers also met their doom in this episode and were confirmed to be killed by Morgan. Plus, it was revealed that Dakota’s parents were killed by their daughter Virginia…and there has to be more to that story.
