The Walking Dead: World Beyond episode 103 fleshed out most of the characters

The Walking Dead: World Beyond started with an absolute bang and is on track to have the best first season in the entire universe of The Walking Dead. In this episode, fans were able to gather more information about all of the characters, and how they have become the characters they are today. Viewers even got a dose of empty killing action, not something seen in this show yet.

Nearly all the characters had their own MVP moment, but only one can secure the crown this week. Hope and Iris killed their first empties for each other. Silas held up a fence and tires so everyone could get out of the BOG, and Elton gave great moral support. Felix and Huck mowed down any empties in their way and kept the kids safe. Even Elizabeth shows loyalty to CRM.

This week’s MVP is Iris!

Iris is a character that has grown tremendously since the first episode. She was heading into a big leadership role in the community and was living for everyone else. Now she is focusing on a small group and herself for a change, and that allows her room to breathe. It was very apparent in this episode she wants the best for her sister and everyone else. She was able to stand firm in her stance of wanting to find her father when confronted by Felix and Huck.

One thing fans have found very admirable about Iris is that she is simply a kind person. This is put on display multiple times and showcased in this episode when it comes to Silas. Silas is a character that is quite mysterious when it comes to origins, it seems he has committed a brutal crime. Kids judged him and in this episode so did Huck. Iris though remained kind and confident in his abilities.

Iris also was confident with her sister’s abilities as well, not giving up her location and sending help even though she might have wanted to. Hope also finally told her the truth about their mother, and while it surely blew her mind she stood strong and supported her sister. Speaking of Hope, when put in direct danger Hope finally killed an empty and put herself in harm’s way to save her sister. This is a character anyone would be lucky to have on their zombie apocalypse team, wear your crown proud Iris!
