1) As the episode begins, we see a collection of people in numbered jumpsuits gather at a loading dock. The ranger overseeing them, Jeb, references how Virginia was giving them a second chance. Why? What, exactly, had they done to warrant needing one in the first place?

2) As the “2nd Chancers” (That’s my name for them) prepare to clear the warehouse, why does Jeb have to tell them where to aim? Are they all like the Alexandrians were in season five of The Walking Dead, and have never actually fought a walker before? If Sanjay is anything to go by, I think the answer might be “Yes”.

3) Jeb is the fourth named character to die this season, and the first Pioneer to do so. I’m not exactly counting the 2nd Chancers, seeing as how they’re in Virginia’s doghouse, I’m not sure how much they’re considered “citizens” of the Pioneers.

4) This episode’s title screen features a silhouette of Strand as a corral of walkers opens up to his right (Our left).

5) In a rare reference in the show, Strand and Alicia’s jobs in Lawton explain how the Pioneers deal with waste disposal: By burning it. Makes you wonder what they did before they got their hands on the gasoline…

6) The settlement Alicia and Strand are working at is, apparently, in Lawton, Oklahoma, the first time Oklahoma has been a setting in Fear The Walking Dead and the fourth state a part of Fear has taken place in, behind California, Mississippi, and Texas.
