4) Never Go Against Your Family, With Anyone.

The thing that makes a group of people “family” in a zombie apocalypse is that group of people’s willingness to do whatever they can to help and protect one another. It is the crucial element that holds a group of people together. It’s not something you’re going to get if join up with a group of people who don’t give a damn about each other.

And, it’s the reason why you should never abandon your family for another group. It doesn’t matter what that other group entices you with, or offers you, or how much they claim they’ll care about you, because, at the end of the day…they won’t.

Oh, they might make a show of it, but, the moment push comes to shove, the moment you really need them, they will abandon you, and, if you turned or your real family for them, you will be left with no one. No one to help you, no one to have your back, no one.

That’s the point of having a “family”, so that, even if you disagree, even if you can’t stand each other sometimes, you will always have each other’s backs, and be willing to help one another out when you, eventually, need it.
