12. The Governor goes too far with Maggie

During season 3 episode 7 of The Walking Dead, the Governor was doing seemingly anything he could to get an advantage over Rick Grimes and the others who were taking residence inside the prison to stay safe from the undead.

After being captured by the Governor, Maggie and Glenn were taken to Woodbury for interrogation. Glenn was beaten down and threatened with walkers, which was pretty scary…but that was nothing compared to what happened with Maggie.

Inside the cell, the Governor tried to get some answers from Maggie, but she refused to say anything, Then, the creepy guy had her strip inside the cell and got right behind her into a very horrible position.

What exactly happened in that cell isn’t clear, but one thing for certain is that every viewer should have been terrified for Maggie. Death and walkers are one thing, but sexual assault is horrific and should never be tolerated. Glenn was eventually able to help her escape, but living through this experience had to traumatize Maggie.
