9. The Claimers go too far

People are by far the scariest monsters in the world of The Walking Dead. While walkers are ready to tear human bodies apart any chance they get, people can do things other people would never expect, or imagine, doing to someone.

The Claimers were one of those groups that were organized just enough to coexist, but each still had their own way of doing things…and some of them were pretty sick. Daryl was with Joe’s group when Rick, Michonne, and Carl were discovered.

Joe held Rick in place as they said they would beat Daryl to death then sexually assault both Carl and Michonne before finally killing him. However, they would not allow this to happen as a brutal assault was coming.

Rick hit Joe with a headbutt and wrestles with him a bit before biting into the throat of Joe, with blood spraying everywhere. Michonne shoots two of the other claimers while Daryl stomps another to death. This violent and terrifying scene sticks with viewers long after watching and is extremely horrifying on many levels.
