8. Like pigs to the slaughter

Terminus may not have stuck around long on the popular AMC zombie drama but the impact of everything that happened there tends to stick with viewers long after the walls fell and all the inhabitants were killed.

One scene, in particular, involves the survivors trapped in the train car being led to a butcher, who was ready to slit their throats and bleed them in order to prepare them as meals for the other residents of Terminus.

Rick, Bob, and Glenn were part of the group put at the trough to be bled along with Sam. The butcher cut the throats of Sam and three others and was just about slit Glenn open before he was saved by an earth-rattling explosion.

Had Carol been a few moments slower on destroying the fuel tank, it is possible that at least Glenn would have been dead with Rick’s fate looming after his. The terror of thinking Glenn would meet the same fate as Sam was enough to scare fans of these two original characters in a big way.
