Talking Dead guests for November 1, 2020

Guests have been announced for the November 1 episode of Talking Dead

The good news: Talking Dead is back on November 1 to break down all of the action from this week’s all-new episodes of Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: World Beyond. The bad news, it seems, is that the after show hosted by Chris Hardwick will only appear on the new AMC+ service. Let’s take a look at who will be showing up for this week’s episode.

Talking Dead will be juggling guests from both shows in the TWD Universe that are airing now. Representing Fear the Walking Dead are actor Garret Dillahunt and showrunner Andrew Chambliss. Actors Alexa Mansour and Nicolas Cantu will represent World Beyond.

This week’s episode of Fear TWD features the return to John Dorie, so it will be good to have Dillahunt on hand to talk about bringing the episode to life. Nicolas Cantu’s Elton plays a big role in this week’s World Beyond, and Cantu is always fun to talk with, so having everyone on hand to talk will be a good thing.

Given all of the world building and the mythology being created by both shows within the TWD Universe at the moment, it will be very helpful to have Talking Dead back on television but it’s very unfortunate that the show will only be available to AMC+ subscribers. (We can only assume that this point that AMC Premiere subscribers will also be able to view new episodes)

There’s hope that the decision will be reversed because fans love tuning in immediately following new episodes to see the cast and break down the action. Limiting viewership to subscribers keeps lots of fans from joining in the conversation, and that’s a shame. It’s very likely that Talking Dead will be available online and on demand the following day but that’s not the same.

Talking Dead airs Sundays on AMC immediately following all-new episodes of Fear TWD and TWD: World Beyond.
