13) Learning what we do about what was happening to Nora’s group, it was nice foreshadowing that, upon seeing the first rat in the cage at the bottom of the skyscraper’s stairwell, Dwight warns Al against touching it, and recounts his run-in with a rat in his sleeping bag.
14) The plague walkers are the third kind of “contagious” walker we’ve seen in the Walking Dead universe, behind the flu walkers from season four of The Walking Dead, and the radioactive walkers Morgan and company met in the first half of last season of Fear.
15) Why would The Beginners infest Drop Site Baker with rats? Assuming they weren’t targeting the CRM, are they just like the Wolves or the Whisperers, and are out to destroy other groups they come across?
16) Sherry’s appearance at the end of this episode is the first time we’ve seen her since her departure from The Walking Dead in the season seven episode, “Sing Me A Song”.
