The first five episodes of The Walking Dead: World Beyond have followed the same group of characters starting out on a journey across the wilderness, and now their social circle is about to expand. In “Shadow Puppets” the mysterious stranger spotted at the end of episode 105 is revealed, but what does he want?

Fans of The Walking Dead know that mysterious strangers can lead to great things (think Michonne) or terrible things (think Dante). In the middle of the apocalypse it’s hard to find people you can trust. When random people show up to your campsite unannounced it’s hard to tell what they might want, but there’s no question that you have to be paying attention and this will be a big test for the Endlings. Physical barriers are one thing, but people are something entirely different.

Episode 106: Shadow Puppets

When an unexpected newcomer reveals information that could help them reach their destination, the group cuts a deal. While some are intrigued by the new arrival, others are suspicious.

This week’s episode of TWD: World Beyond premieres immediately following an all-new episode of Fear the Walking Dead. Talking Dead will air following World Beyond with special guests Maggie Grace, Christine Evangelista, Nico Tortorella and Aliyah Royale. Talking Dead is only available on AMC+, with no word on whether or not it will be available on AMC later.
